Guess who's back!
So I went to Pinky Paradise's website and I decided to pick up a new lens: Vassen's Rainbow Eyes in Light Greenish. I really wanted to try something bold this time, but I've never ordered from Pinky Paradise before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Nevertheless, here were my thoughts!
So here'g of the product. I ordered my lenses on the night of the 6th this May and it arrived on the 20th (about 10 business days, or 2 weeks total). As you can see, the lenses shipped from Malaysia in this little yellow envelope, which on the inside, is engraved with bubble wrap.
Design: 9/10 I absolutely love the color of these lenses, but I wouldn't exactly consider them to be natural. It kind of depends since it is a 14.5 mm pair; one of my friends (who is familiar with circle lenses) knew immediately that I was wearing them, and another friend who was not as familiar had no idea until I pointed them out to her. The yellowish center does blend better than most of the lenses I've tried though, but in my eyes (which are dark brown) I would definitely considered the green part of the lenses to be more of a grey-ish green than the lighter green that is seen on the website and in the bottle. The blue is only visible up close, and yes, you can see the pixels.
Comfort: 8/10 I noticed that these lenses do slide around a bit in the eye, and they are a little bit harder to put in since they are 14.5 mm, but once you get them in, you don't really notice them that much. I did wear these lenses for 4 hours when I first tried them on (this was my first time wearing lenses for that long in the past 2 weeks). I did notice more blurring that on some of my other lenses, however, I was at a place with bright lighting and as mentioned, I hadn't worn lenses in a while. When I got home and i took them off, my eyes were definitely a little red. After a while, I've gotten used to them, but my only warning is that they may take some time to break in.
Enlargement: 10/10 Oooh baby I got some big eyes with these lenses. To say the least, these were my first pair of 14.5, but the enlargement was definitely noticeable. To be 100% honest, I would love these lenses a bunch more if they were 14mm, maybe even 14.2, because the color is so nice, but with the 14.5 diameter, it's a bit too big for everyday wear and long hours. I'll probably only wear these on special occasions, even though I love these lenses. Here's a photo so you can see the enlarging:

Here's what I found inside the package; the macaroon lens case (adorable by the way, on one of the caps it has an L on it for left, and on the inside, there's an R and an L at the bottom of the case), the lenses wrapped in red, and a free gift in the black smiley face package. It's a hair velcro, which doesn't hold back my hair too well because I have a lot of hair, including bangs, however it is pretty useful in the morning when I don't want the folds in my hair that bobby pins give me.
Here are the bottles that were inside the red wrap.
These are the details of the lens as listed on Pinky Paradise:

As you can see, the lenses I got are labeled blue, 0.00 plano. Not sure what SW4 means, make sure to comment down below if you know.

This is the design as seen in the bottle.
It's a very pretty clover/petal like design.

Excuse my no makeup face :)
Finally, here are all the photos of the lenses.
Window lighting. As you can see the lenses is very large and slides around (the lighter outer circle around the iris of my eye.
Outdoor lighting. Excuse the one hair on my eye.
Window lighting. Front.
Indoor lighting. As you can tell here my eyes were pretty red.
Indoor lighting, front view.
:)
Excuse my no makeup face. Love the sparkly look these lenses have. They're not super bright or vampirey.
As you can see these lenses are more of a greyish blue with a tint of green. (didn't do my eyebrows smh)
Overall: 10/10 I love these lenses; they're so pretty and the perfect color! I just wish they were smaller, therefore more natural, less drying, and generally better for everyday use.
Tell me what you guys think!
